Hello all!

It’s only been 8 weeks…but it seems like forever!

First thing….THIS PODCAST IS NOT DISAPPEARING! One of the things I have been anxious to continue with Robotech: the McKinney Project. The show with its few episodes has been a success with Robotech fans around the world. 

As I said in our introduction episode, there will be times where life happens and it will need my full attention. The last 8 weeks have been like that. Whether it’s been work, personal matters or taking a new role as an Uncle, it has not given me the time to sit down and record a complete episode. Plus there were also technical issues in recording which frustrated me to no end.

I have had narration and excerpt readings recorded for weeks but not the rest of the show. I could have put those up by themselves, but I felt it would be just throwing them out there without proper introductions and the rest that goes along the podcast.

Now that things will calm down after this week…I am MORE than prepared to continue the journey. I have so many ideas floating around that I want to make this into the ULTIMATE AND DEFINITIVE Robotech Novels experience!

But you must walk before you can fly……first things first!

EPISODE 3 – FIREWORKS

A rundown of what you’ll hear:

THIRTY Robotech Novel excerpt readings that are almost an hour in length! We relive one of the key moments in the Robotech story that for those that saw that first episode in the animated series, said to themselves……”This is the start of something special!”

We finally talk about how all of you can become the star of the show. I will give you all the details on how listeners can submit readings of their own. The whole process will be explained with start dates. It might be bumpy at first, but then again, this is something that has NEVER been done before in Robotech in mass scale.

I am also going to share with you a very special “Jack McKinney moment” with you……because this project…this podcast…this JOURNEY…..is not all about the Robotech Novels……it’s about two great friends who had a bond beyond any science fiction story…..

Robotech was just lucky enough for them to say…”Hey, let’s see what we can do with this story!”

More than twenty-five years later, the legacy continues…..November 4th.

Sólo han pasado 8 semanas ... pero parece una eternidad!

 
Lo primero .... ESTE PODCAST NO ESTA DESAPARECIENDO!! Una de las cosas que he estado ansioso por seguir es Robotech: El Proyecto McKinney. El programa, con sus pocos episodios ha sido todo un éxito con los fans de Robotech alrededor del mundo.

 
Como dije en nuestro episodio de introducción, habrá momentos en que la vida pasa y necesitará toda mi atención. Las últimas 8 semanas han sido así. Si se trata de trabajo, asuntos personales o tomando un nuevo papel como un tío, no me ha dado el tiempo para sentarme y grabar un episodio completo. Además, también hubo problemas técnicos en la grabación que me frustraron sin fin.

He tenido lecturas de la narración y los pasajes grabado por semanas, pero no el resto del show. Yo podría haber puesto esos por sí mismos, pero sentí que sería simplemente tirarlos por ahí sin introducciones adecuadas y el resto que va con el podcast.

 
Ahora que las cosas se calmen después de esta semana ... Estoy más que preparado para continuar el viaje. Tengo muchas ideas dando vueltas que quiero hacer esto en la experiencia ULTIMA Y DEFINITIVA de las Novelas Robotech!

Pero hay que caminar antes de poder volar ...... lo primero es lo primero!

EPISODIO 3 - PIROTECNICOS

Un resumen de lo que que usted oirá:

TREINTA lecturas de pasajes de las Novelas Robotech que casi son una hora de duración! Revivimos uno de los momentos clave de la historia Robotech que para aquellos que vieron el primer episodio de la serie animada, que se dijeron a sí mismos ...... "Este es el comienzo de algo especial!"

Finalmente hablamos de cómo todos USTEDES pueden convertirse en la estrella del show. Les daré todos los detalles sobre cómo los oyentes pueden enviar lecturas de pasajes propias. Todo el proceso se explicará con las fechas de inicio. Puede ser que sea lleno de baches al principio, pero de nuevo, esto es algo que nunca se ha hecho antes en Robotech en escala masiva.

 También voy a compartir con ustedes un "momento Jack McKinney" muy especial con ustedes ...... porque este proyecto ... este podcast ... este VIAJE ..... no es todo acerca de las de las Novelas Robotech ...... es sobre dos grandes amigos que tenían un vínculo más allá de cualquier historia de ciencia ficción .....

Robotech era lo suficientemente afortunado que ellos digan ... "Hey, vamos a ver lo que podemos hacer con esta historia!"

Más de veinticinco años después, el legado continúa ..... el 4 de Noviembre.
