Second..... IT IS GREAT TO BE BACK!
As I said in our introduction episode, there will be times where life happens and it will need my full attention. The last 8 weeks have been like that. Whether it’s been work, personal matters or taking on a new role as an Uncle, it has not given me the time to sit down and record a complete episode. Plus there were also technical issues in recording which frustrated me to no end.
I have said on multiple occasions that as long as I am physically able, I am taking this show to the final Robotech Novel, End of the Circle. And here I am! Will there be times where I will need to attend to my personal matters or where I just need a break? Of course. We all need some "me" time. And I will let you know if that happens. The breaks won't be long (I hope.) But make no mistake......JT IS BACK AND ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE!

Robotech: The McKinney Project Podcast presents Episode #3....."FIREWORKS"
This edition gives us 30 readings (almost an hour!) reliving one of the most memorable moments in Robotech when it first debuted in 1985. We'll be introduced to characters whose legends (or misadventures) will begin in this episode!
It will also bring the introduction to one of the most debated concepts in the Jack McKinney Robotech Novel's Universe. Even after 20 plus years, people still talk about it........

In our side segment, we finally get into the details of how all of you can become part of this podcast by submitting Robotech Novel readings!
Here is a quick summary;
You will need your PC and a recording device. (Microphone/Headset Microphone).
(I have not tested this on a tablet, IPAD or IPHONE)
On November 18th, I will post the selected readings for EPISODE SIX on our Facebook Page and here on the Blog. They will be NUMBERED.
Pick your readings......AND RECORD! Either through Soundcloud or separate recording software. (try www.audacity.com .......it's a great program and it's FREE!). If you record outside of Soundcloud, you must upload it.
Email me at robotechnovels@gmail.com your Soundcloud page. (EMAILS WITH SOUND FILES ATTACHED TO THEM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!!)
You have from November 18 to December 6 to submit.
December 16th will be Episode #6.
Keys to a good recording:
CLARITY - People have to hear you clearly!
IDENTIFICATION - Your name, location and which reading you are recording. I want to give your FULL CREDIT!
VARIETY - Record MORE than one reading, it betters your chances of getting on the show.
Now I want to be real.....not EVERYONE will make it to Episode #6.....however.....I WILL do an entire separate Episode with ALL the readings submitted!
EMOTION: You don't have to be a voice actor for this....but you have put that vibrancy behind what you are reading! I know you are all talented and I want to showcase that on the podcast!
I am excited to get to hear you all!
And to finish this already HUGE Episode.....I want to share with you a Jack McKinney moment.....While this podcast is a celebration of the Robotech Novels...it is also a celebration of two gentlemen that give the truest of meanings to the word FRIENDSHIP.
We got lucky in that they decided....."Hey, let's look into this Robotech thing and see what we can come up with..."
